Bio:
On July 3, 1993 Wendy Brathwaite gave birth to an artist of extraordinary talent. Since the tender age of 8, Jahron Anthony Brathwaite adopted music as his very first love. Jahron was inspired to sing when his mom bought him the “Space Jam” cassette, listening to R. Kelly’s I Believe I Can Fly, and fly is just what this man intended to do. As a young one growing up in Canada’s Greater Toronto Area, Jahron mastered his voice, taking it to places many young artists in the “game” have yet to visit. Growing up, Jahron kept one standard: “Keep my grind on my music, ‘cause music is my grind”. A standard that pushed him to seek out every chance at making himself heard. Jahron used every opportunity he had to strengthen his voice musically, doing everything from singing in church choirs to performing in talent shows. Clearly his efforts are paying off. Now 15-years-old Jahron’s voice has taken on the smooth edge of John Legend and the sultry control of Lyfe Jennings topped off with a flavor all his own. However, what sets young Jahron apart from other young musicians are his abilities as a true artist; as a writer. Brathwaite ‘s ability to write on a level that many established writers only dream of is what got him noticed by artist manager Aaron Henry, a rising name in music. He saw Jahron’s potential as an industry-shaking powerhouse and signed a management deal with him without hesitation. “It’s a wonder that a young man with such skill still remains modest, well rounded, and firmly grounded”, says Henry. Then again with the constant support of his family and an idol base that includes the likes of Ryan Leslie and Lil Wayne greatness is an expectation, an expectation that Jahron seems well on his way to achieving.
