MirImage is a Phenomenal R&B duo out of Michigan. Members include: JeVon Lewis (Smoove) & Jequane Roberts (Quann). They formed the partnership back in 2005, under the name Finesse (FNS), when they met in their freshmen year of high school. They discovered they had the same great passion for music, and developed a brotherly bond. Since then, they have been inseparable. With their love for music and vocal ability, they began recording in a basement studio in which they raised money for by selling candy at school. In the spring of 2008, they decided to change the name of the group, to MirImage because a mirror image is a reflection of an object but in reverse. Smoove & Quann, viewed each other as twins or a mirror image of each other. They were the same in many ways, but still different. Ying & Yang. Quann is the crazy, cool guy with the powerful voice. While Smoove is the sexy, smooth guy with the silky smooth vocals. Put them together, and they'll swoon & capture the hearts of girls worldwide. MirImage does everything themselves, and are 100% behind their music creatively. Quann produces the beats, while Smoove writes all the lyrics & arrangements. MirImage has recorded local hits such as "Curfew", "Pink Covers feat. Amaya", and "S.E.X.". Also in the Spring of 2009, they finished up their first studio effort, called "Coming of Age", and their song "Slow Motion" was one of the top downloaded R&B ringtones on MyXer.com. Their sound has been described as having a timeless, 90's R&B feel, with a touch of new age. They have been quoted saying, "We Are the Return of R&B", feeling as though that timeless R&B sound is missing in the industry today. So Through Great Determination & Drive, They have come a very, very long way. And MirImage knows that as long as they keep their minds straight, their whole heart in what they do, and keep God first, they will reach their destiny.
